No 2 days the same...

Well, I've decided that as we all know, there are no 2 days the same in this life. I mean, really let's think about it. My excitement for today was that my couch, that was suppposed to be here over a month ago, finally got delivered today!! Hooray!! But in comparison, the excitement yesterday was that my nephew, Blake Andrew Boatwright was born yesterday!! He's precious, and I promise once I figure out how, I'll add a pic of him!! It just seems like each day is so full and all together it's almost overwhelming. I'm sure you all (all 2 of you that are actually reading this) know already that I'm working as the Preschool Associate at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston. Anyhow, things are great here, and it's really cool how God brought me here and has affirmed that this is right where He wants me right now, but it's been a huge adjustment, and like I said, almost overwhelming. Life in the real world verses life at Baylor is so drastically different, I've decided that there's nothing really that can prepare you for it, you just have to be thrust into it, ready or not! Anyways, I've been in seminary now for one week almost officially. It's pretty great. A lot of reading, but interesting reading at least! The biggest bummer about taking classes is that I am taking a class that only meets for 3 weekends, which is cool, except for the fact that one of those weekends is Baylor Homecoming, which means I have to miss my first Baylor Homecoming and a lot of my friends are going to be there, literally from all across the US!!! AHHHH, makes me sick! Okay, this enought rambling for tonight...more to come I'm sure, probably the next time I'm trying to avoid reading for class!! Till then.

Honey, I asked you not to post the picture until after I had a chance to tell my parents the news. It's going to be difficult enough convincing them to let you into the family in the first place, but now they will have been the last to hear the news.

Since the cat is out of the bag, I posted an announcement on my blog as well. We might as well make the best of this.
