Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think this means that I am going to struggle for the next 26 days. I have plenty of other outfits still to go, I just wasn't in the mood for any of the easy "go to" outfits that I can wear to church on Sunday or when I want to look a little dressier for work. Thursdays are usually my semi-casual day, which basically means no black pants or dress skirt, but at the same time it doesn't mean jeans and a t-shirt, which is why I struggled today. I digress.
Before I show you the pics, I MUST give a shout out to my photog, Rebs, and her assistant, Raquie. These girls have been integral in helping me come up with various locations at work to take pics, helped with lighting, even provided a camera when I forgot mine (for the past 3 days...oops). Today, I was uber high maintenance because we took pics in the morning, but I wasn't pleased with them, so we did a second photo shoot outside for better lighting...like I said, they are amazing. And in just about 10 days Rebs will be heading out to Cali for the remainder of November, so Raquie will have to pick up the slack, and we think she's gonna do a fine job. So girls, thanks for being an integral part of this 30 in 30 challenge.
If you know me well at all, you know I like to layer, ok, I love to layer, and today is a product of that. I just don't know when to say when. It's a problem. Shall we count the layers? 1-tights, 2-ruffle shirt, 3-black dress, 4-grey cardie, 5-purple belt
Yes, the ruffles are my throw back to George Washington (ha!).
Ruffle shirt - JC Penny's
Grey Cardie - Stein Mart
Purple belt - NY & Co
Purple ruffle shoes - Kohl's (for $10! I love a good deal!)
A sad attempt at a jumping pic...we never got the timing right, maybe if I remember to bring my camera some time I'll get a good one for ya!
Now, let's see what I come up with for weekend wear...this may be the biggest challenge yet!
